Scott is an RDG Principal with more than 20 years of experience collaborating with public, private, and non-profit clients in the parks, recreation, conservation, sports, tourism and development industries. 

He provides a depth of knowledge and expertise to clients and critical leadership to mentor team members and collaborators. His design methodology seeks to create unique experiences that integrate the cultural meaning of places, improve environmental systems, promote healthy and resilient communities, and enhance the quality of life.    

Scott serves in leadership roles on public, non-profit, and foundation boards of directors, aligning his strengths and passions to advance the mission of these organizations in the community. He is an internationally published author and frequently provides topical education sessions at local, state, regional, and national conferences. 

His project collaborations on award-winning design works have been cited by the American Society of Landscape Architects, American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association, National Recreation and Parks Association, National Association of Counties, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Collaboration of Design + Art Worx, Recreation Management Magazine, and Athletic Business.
