His 27-plus years of experience across a variety of project types, from corporate and residential to historic preservation and adaptive reuse.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and recognition for his projects and design work. Steve understands the work of the architect in a broad context, having prior experience as Iowa's Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer/Chief Preservation Architect, as well as high-level participation in agency planning and business development.
His active involvement and leadership in civic and professional organizations keep him continually open to new approaches and ideas.
