RDG Interiors Wins Four IDEA awards

RDG interior designers received a total of four IDEA Awards that spanned three separate categories as well as best overall. These accolades were announced at an awards presentation and celebration by IIDA (International Interior Design Association) the evening of April 26, 2012.

IIDA is committed to honoring talented and visionary interior designers within the Interior Design profession. As part of their ongoing commitment, the IIDA Great Plains Chapter invited all IIDA members to submit their outstanding projects for the 2012 IDEA Competition. The Interior Design Excellence Awards is a program that recognizes interior design projects and designers that represent excellence in the profession.

Award Category: Corporate over 25, Best of Show
Judges' Comments: Sophisticated design utilizing practical materials. Primary corridor lighting is inviting and leads us in. Design is resourceful and reflects Goodwill as a modern company moving forward. Nice use of brand color.

Award Category: Budget
Judges' Comments: Clever use of tectural plane in repurposing goods. Rebranding old image in fresh way. Open and changing.

Award Category: Education Under 50
Judges' Comments: We like that it seems modern and industrial but still inviting. We want to celebrate the re-purposing of existing buildings.
