Architecture Overview:

As children at Walnut Hills Elementary School grow and move on to other schools, they will have special memories of this inviting building’s central rotunda, with its structural column symbolically representing the shape of a walnut tree. A strong entrance design located on the wind-protected, warm southern exposure creates street identity, and the building’s orientation makes full use of optimal northern and southern exposuresto give classrooms maximum natural light.
