Aberdeen Ridge represents a significant advancement in senior living design, combining innovative care models with unparalleled amenities and a robust cultural atmosphere. It sets a new standard for luxury and comfort in senior living, crafted to provide residents with a rich, fulfilling lifestyle that celebrates their individuality and fosters a sense of community.

Aberdeen Ridge, developed by Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (PMMA) based in Wichita, Kansas, marks PMMA's expansion into Colorado with their first community located in the scenic city of Colorado Springs. This new Greenfield senior living community embraces a full spectrum of living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Support care. The introduction of the entrance fee model represents a pioneering approach for the area, tailored to meet the evolving preferences and needs of seniors.   Situated with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and the Garden of the Gods, the community is designed to merge scenic beauty with the convenience and comfort of modern senior living. The architecture and layout promote an active and engaging lifestyle for residents, embodying a blend of luxury and accessibility.

At the heart of Aberdeen Ridge is a commons area replete with high-quality amenities aimed at enriching the lifestyle of residents. This includes concierge services, Zeb's Bistro for dining, a grand lobby/living room with a two-story fireplace for socializing, a salon, state-of-the-art cardio and exercise rooms and an indoor swimming pool. The facility also includes specialized spaces such as a large arts and crafts room and a game room and more, all designed to foster community and individual pursuits.

The second floor of the commons area enhances the communal experience with additional luxurious amenities. It features a piano lounge pre-function area, the Goldfields pub, a library, and a club room with a large fireplace and exceptional views, offering a perfect backdrop for relaxation and social gatherings. The multipurpose room can be adapted to host larger events or more intimate gatherings, reflecting the flexible design of the community spaces.

The interior design ensures a seamless and elegant aesthetic flow through all areas of the community, while also addressing the specific needs of Assisted Living or Memory Care residents. The design incorporates natural materials and a casual yet refined mountain lodge style. Notably, the interiors of the community dining venues – Zeb's, Mesa and Goldfields –feature distinctive designs that set each apart. From barrel vault wood ceilings to richly saturated dark green walls – the goal was to create varied dining experiences that rival high-end standalone restaurants. A meticulously curated art collection enriches the environment at Aberdeen Ridge. This collection includes an array of local photography, commissioned paintings, and wall sculptures that reflect the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region, contributing to a vibrant and inspiring living space.

The Aberdeen Ridge 15-acre campus was designed in collaboration with AG Architecture and Greystone Development with RDG providing full-service interior design and FF&E planning and procurement. This partnership leverages cutting-edge design and thoughtful development strategies to create a landmark senior community.
