Suites
RDG, in a design/build partnership with Fiegen Construction, designed and constructed this 25,000 SF facility for Mount Marty University in 11 months from initial conversation to occupancy.
The Suites take their architectural cues from the Fieldhouse quad. The placement of the building reinforces the western edge of the campus. The building's floor plan and spatial organization create three levels of single and double occupancy bedrooms working off a semi-private lounge, in a configuration that gives the University a great diversity of housing resources for current and prospective students. Suite-style apartments with partial kitchenettes and quiet spaces enable students to transition out of traditional dorms and prepare for life after college.
The new residence hall provides an additional 96 beds and increases on-campus housing by 27 percent.
