Rehabilitation
The City of Storm Lake, Iowa worked with RDG to improve the facades of 16 different downtown storefronts.
Proposed work was reviewed by the State Historic Preservation Office and much of the funding was received in grants through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The facade work includes masonry repair and renovation of the upper or lower storefront windows. Facades are taken back to their historic appearance with new canvas awnings and new signage.
