Market/Service Location



Perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity. Perform analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts. Select building materials and systems and prepare project specifications.   

Collaborate with project teams, specialty consultants and clients to develop design details and full construction documents. Assist with renderings and other digital communication tools to tell the overall design story. Produce presentations that communicate design expertise. Apply knowledge of codes. Prepare scaled drawings and models with computer software and by hand.  Adapt plans and resolve problems throughout any phase of the project.  Prepare conceptual and schematic design based on building programs.  Prepare construction documents for bidding, pricing and construction purposes.  Meet with clients in various states 3-5 times per year.


  • Five-year Bachelor of Science Degree or Master's Degree in Architecture from an NAAB Accredited Architecture Program with a focus on health care design.  

  • License to practice architecture in the relevant state of practice or eligible for state architecture license within four years of beginning employment.
