DMU Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Center

Des Moines University Clinic is the exclusive provider of physical therapy and athletic training services at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex in West Des Moines, Iowa. The design for this space was inspired by the philosophy of the physical therapy practice with movement as the central focus and function. The theme is applied in the physical space with curved elements including ceiling hung baffles and an active carpet pattern. The design was also influenced by "purple & proud", the DMU campaign for the future, celebrating DMU purple throughout the facility. This state-of-the-art space supports DMU's mission and vision by providing high-quality care and educational experiences dedicated to improving health and wellness.
