Interior Design Overview:
The utilization of the new Hayneedle brand was an important factor that would allow them to tell the story of the company's history and future to all customers, vendors and employees. Being a highly energetic group, the increase in communication between departments was a high priority. RDG used the newly unveiled logo and brand for Hayneedle as an opportunity to create a sense of energy and excitement at its corporate headquarters in Omaha. To reinforce collaboration between all departments, the majority of the employees were moved from offices into workstations. Extra wide walkways were created to avoid a sense of overcrowding, and to give the opportunities to place additional products, which range from outdoor furniture and hammocks to sofas, chairs and bean bags. Large, open areas are located throughout the space to allow employees to layout those spaces in more personal ways.
