State of Iowa Data Center Improvements

Increased demand upon the State of Iowa’s Main Data Center prompted the addition of HVAC equipment and electrical distribution necessary for the expansion of the data center located on B level of the Hoover State Office Building. The project consisted of adding a 30 ton chilled water CRAC unit to support the addition of new data storage and distribution equipment. 2 new 225kVA power distribution units and 4 new power distribution cabinets were also added to provide for increased electrical demand and redundancy.
