West Des Moines Valley High School -Phase 2

Phase 2 is a 66 million dollar project with multiple components. The project creates opportunities for current and future students to explore interests with new amenities such as culinary arts, science labs, auditorium and strength & fitness labs. The west addition includes strength & fitness labs, wrestling and FEMA shelter on level one; new food service/kitchen & dining facilities, Family & Consumer Science labs including Culinary Arts and "Cafe V" on level two; and new science labs on level three. The east addition is a new 1,150-seat performing arts auditorium along with drama, vocal, dance and orchestra labs and classrooms, plus remodeled spaces for other student programs.
