City of Goddard Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan
The City of Goddard is working with RDG Planning & Design, CFS engineers and Venice Communications to prepare a new Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan. This plan will identify overall goals and guide the City’s growth in expanding existing trails, sidewalks and pathways into destination-based networks. An important part of the process is to talk informally with the public who know the area best and are willing to share their opinions and insights. We will be holding two public workshops in an informal setting. The first will be to ask the public what they think is the best way to create connections and identify barriers and develop realistic concepts for crossing those barriers to enhance the overall quality of life in the City of Goddard. The second will be for the public to give their input and comments on the final alternative plan recommendation.
The first public workshop will be:
- Thursday, May 24, 2018
- Pathway Church, 18800 West Kellogg.
Your participation at these discussions is vital to helping us understand the area and its potential, enabling us to create a plan that is specifically tailored to the needs and future aspirations of the people of Goddard. We know that you will find the public workshop stimulating and useful.
If you have any other questions about this project, please contact Craig Crossette, Assistant to the City Administrator, City of Goddard at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan is a joint planning process with the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WAMPO) and the City of Goddard.
