RDG Planning & Design Ranked as a Top 100 Green Design Firm

Des Moines, IA June 24, 2008 – McGraw-Hill Construction’s Engineering News-Record (ENR) has published its first-ever Top Green Design Firms survey. Companies are ranked based on 2007 design revenue from projects registered with or certified by third-party ratings groups under objective environmental or sustainable design standards, such as the Green Building Initiative or the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.

“The Market for sustainable design has passed a tipping point and is rapidly becoming main stream. ENR’s top Green Design Firms bypasses “green-washing” hype to objectively measure the market based on standards and 2007 financial data. Cumulatively, the firms on this list generated $1.74 billion in revenue from green projects in 2007: $1.62 billion in the U.S., and $121.2 million abroad.”
