Gold Award for Workplace Wellness
RDG Planning & Design received a Gold level national Well Workplace distinction from the Wellness Council of America for its culture and commitment to employee health and wellness, joining an elite cadre of only 44 other Gold award winners in the United States.
The Well Workplace is a rigorous designation. RDG opened its doors to reviewers from WELCOA to examine the workplace wellness efforts using seven benchmarks as scoring criteria. From CEO support to evaluation, RDG demonstrated it successfully met the requirements to achieve this monumental distinction.
At RDG we believe optimum health is achieved by a combination of factors, including physical, emotional, intellectual, financial, and environmental. To support employees’ in their lifestyles, the company provide on-site workout facilities and showers, bicycle clinics, and regular speakers with topics such as budgeting and retirement investing, and emotional and mental health balances. We also host regular luncheons in which only healthy, balanced food is offered. The company also offers incentives to employees for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a financial benefit towards health insurance costs.
