Video Wins National Award

The “Wind Farming” video written and filmed by RDG for the Iowa DOT Adair County rest area is recognized by the International Academy of the Visual Arts with a 2013 Communication Award of Distinction.

The Iowa Department of Transportation turns to RDG Dahlquist Art Studio to develop site-specific stories and comprehensive transportation projects that combine research and documentation, design, fabrication of integrated artwork, and installation. A series of new Rest Area and Welcome Center facilities have become new destinations across the state, “experiences” directly related to economic development of the region.
RDG scripted, photographed and created the video production “Wind Farming,” using technology to communicates the story of wind energy to the traveling public.
