Renovation and expansion of the University of Oregon’s Student Recreation Center creates a facility celebrating both Student Recreation and Academic programs since the PE and Recreation programs are uniquely and beneficially intertwined on this campus. The new facility is an even more popular campus venue celebrating recreational, social, and intellectual activities, and substantially contributing to the development of the campus community and to the student experience and overall quality of life on campus. The improved functional organization of this building creates a very dynamic facility, flooded with natural light, and with dramatically improved wayfinding.
