RDG achieves second GOLD Bike Friendly Business designation!

If you know how much we here at RDG love our bikes, you can image how excited we are to share that we’ve once again achieved Gold Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) status from the League of American Bicyclists! As part of the Bicycle Friendly America program, over 1,200 business (Sept. 2016) across the country have become BFBs since the program began. Currently, there are 16 new and renewed BFBs in Nebraska, including three Gold, eight Silver, and five Bronze designations. (And we’re thrilled to share Gold status with one of RDG’s recent projects, The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Outdoor Adventures Center!)

Through the BFB program, employers are recognized for efforts to encourage a more welcoming atmosphere for bicycling employees, customers, and the community. (If they desire, we really like to take it a step further to incorporate bike-friendly practices and amenities for our clients and their projects, too.) Attributes of a BFB include encouragement; engineering; education; and evaluation and planning – learn more here!
