Thank you to our summer interns, Hannah and Emily!
It’s with well wishes that we bid our Omaha summer interns a fond farewell this week! Hannah and Emily, you’ve done an amazing job and have been wonderful additions to the RDG team. We’re going to miss you!
Hannah Schafers (left) is an architecture student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and will graduate in May 2018. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue her Masters of Architecture. As an architectural intern, Hannah worked primarily in the Early Learning market sector on concept diagramming, massing and envelope development, as well as gross motor activity area design development for several large projects.
Emily Osborn (right) is an interiors student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and is planning to graduate in May 2018. During her time with us as an interior design intern, she worked on multiple projects in the Corporate, Higher Education, and Early Learning market sectors. Emily worked on renderings, textiles, floor patterns, appliance inventory, furniture spreadsheets, textiles, material boards, test fits, construction drawings, material specifications, furniture and finish binders, wayfinding selection, redlines, and furniture plans.
Both Hannah and Emily were key members of the Kaneko architecture camp and Sand in the City teams, and each worked hard to perfect submissions for the AIA Nebraska Design Awards, helping tell great stories of RDG projects.
Ladies, we wish you the best in your studies and in your careers! Thank you for your hard work, your great attitudes, and your commitment to RDG this summer. It’s been a pleasure having you on board!
