RDG in the Media: Southeast Polk High School Stadium Featured in the Des Moines Register

The new multipurpose facility, designed by RDG Planning & Design, will expand opportunities for physical education and create an amenity-rich space for student-athletes.

Southeast Polk High School has announced the approval of a new $22.7 million multipurpose facility. The stadium will be designed by RDG Planning & Design and is set to break ground at the end of May 2021.

RDG’s design for the stadium converts 52 acres of land on the southwest side of the high school building into an expansive, ADA-accessible stadium with seating for up to 6,200 people. The amenity-rich facility will encompass junior varsity and varsity locker rooms, a standard IAAF eight-lane track, shot put and discus fields and a multisport-use synthetic turf infield that can accommodate football, soccer and other sports.
