RDG Named a 2021 Iowa Top Workplaces Winner

The annual Top Workplaces list, presented by the Des Moines Register, reflects RDG Planning & Design’s commitment to creating a culture where employees feel nurtured, supported and empowered.

RDG Planning & Design is proud to announce it has been named a 2021 Top Workplace by Iowa Top Workplaces. Presented by the Des Moines Register, RDG’s position as a 2021 top workplace signals the firm as an employer of choice in Des Moines, Iowa, and reflects its commitment to creating a culture where employees feel nurtured, supported and empowered.

“Our people are truly what take RDG from good to great, and we strive to create a positive company culture focused on rewarding work that supports a greater purpose,” said RDG Principal Justin Platts, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP. “By creating a work atmosphere where employees feel nurtured and supported, we empower them to challenge the status quo and continuously push our organization to do and be better. Our position on Iowa Top Workplaces’ 2021 list reflects this commitment and we’re honored to be included.”

The annual Iowa Top Workplaces list is based on anonymous employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage LLC. Energage’s survey, which was administered to RDG employees in March 2021, measures employee feedback on 15 key culture drivers considered critical to the success of an organization, including alignment, connection and execution.

“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business.”
