Benjamin Kroll is a nationally recognized architect, design leader and senior partner at RDG Planning & Design.
Since joining RDG in 2015, Benjamin brings more than two decades of experience leading award-winning projects across the U.S. and internationally. His work spans academic health sciences, higher education, mixed-use, commercial and cultural markets, and includes large-scale developments in cities such as Boston, Dubai, Riyadh, Osaka, New York and Los Angeles.
He is known for combining a passion for design excellence with deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking and a collaborative spirit. Benjamin has led the design and delivery of projects with over 30 regional and national awards, including the Des Moines University Medicine & Health Sciences Campus, the University of Michigan Mass Timber Research Facility and the Creighton University School of Dentistry.
Outside RDG, Benjamin serves on the AIA Committee on Design and has led initiatives such as "SAY IT LOUD Nebraska," advocating for equity and visibility in design. With a master’s degree from Pratt Institute and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Hanover Universität, Benjamin holds licensure in New York and Nebraska and is NCARB-certified.
