Adam Wiese Selected for Greater Omaha Chamber's Leadership Omaha Class 49

The Greater Omaha Chamber recently announced that RDG Architect and Partner Adam Wiese, AIA, NCARB, has been selected for Leadership Omaha Class 49, continuing a nearly five-decade tradition of developing leaders committed to strengthening the Greater Omaha region.

Leadership Omaha brings together professionals from across the region to strengthen their leadership skills, deepen their understanding of Greater Omaha and build the relationships needed to help move the community forward. This year's class was selected by a committee of Leadership Omaha alumni and Greater Omaha Chamber board members. Participants were chosen for their demonstrated community involvement, leadership potential and commitment to Omaha's future.

Since joining RDG in 2018, Wiese has led design efforts across the country that blend research, sustainability and user-centered thinking to create meaningful places. His work includes the recently completed Scott Engineering Renovation & Link Replacement at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he helped develop an innovative facade system that balances daylighting, energy performance and architectural expression.

Wiese's leadership extends beyond the design profession through his longstanding commitment to education, mentorship and community service. He leads KANEKO's annual architecture and design camps, teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and volunteers with organizations that introduce students to careers in the built environment. His work focuses on creating opportunities for emerging designers, expanding access to the profession and helping communities thrive through thoughtful design and civic engagement.

I'm looking forward to the journey of growth, reflection and collaboration ahead and deepening my understanding of the city beyond my day-to-day professional lens and to become more intentional about how I contribute to the community."

Over the next 10 months, members of Leadership Omaha Class 49 will explore critical regional issues, expand their leadership capacity and deepen their understanding of community trusteeship, joining a network of more than 1,900 Leadership Omaha alums.
