The editors of Building Design+Construction collected more than 40 recent office and office-to-residential projects, showcasing the latest the market has to offer in amenities, trends and construction techniques.

As part of BD+C's 2025 office roundup, the magazine’s editors selected 40 innovative office and office-to-residential projects that reflect the latest market trends, cutting-edge amenities and advancements in construction techniques. The first list in the office roundup series focuses on 15 of the 40 projects, each related to amenities, and includes RDG’s design for the Fusion Medical Staffing office in Omaha, Nebraska.

Fusion’s newly-constructed office space addresses the company’s challenges of rapid growth and the evolving needs of a hybrid workforce in a post-pandemic era. Wellness and connection play central roles throughout the 115,000 SF space, with each floor featuring a centrally located breakroom designed to invite gatherings and develop trusted relationships. Private wellness rooms are available for personal care services such as massages or dental visits, while private respite rooms provide space for reflection, relaxation or religious practices.

RDG’s interior designers integrated playful creativity by incorporating themes celebrating individuality. Each floor offers a unique personality, from U.S. National Parks to iconic pop culture references such as The Office and the board game Clue. In addition to the themed floors, The Fusebox lounge on the main floor, complete with a golf simulator and arcade games, doubles as a hub for internal engagement and external recruitment efforts.
