Architizer features SAY IT LOUD – Nebraska as an A+ Awards Finalist.
Architzer shared RDG’s design for SAY IT LOUD – Nebraska as a featured project. In 2023, SAY IT LOUD was selected as an A+Award Finalist in the Galley & Exhibition Spaces category.
SAY IT LOUD aims to spotlight underrepresented professionals in the built environment, including architects, contractors, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and planners who identify as female, Black, Indigenous or Persons of Color from across Nebraska.
The project's unique approach involved housing the exhibit in a shipping container, strategically placed in various locations across Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Utilizing QR codes, visitors interacted with the exhibit, gaining insights into the featured designers and voting for a People’s Choice Award. A virtual resource library further enhanced the experience, offering a gateway to design diversity information.
The vision extended beyond exhibition walls, reaching local youth and college students through placement in community centers and educational programs.
