Fort Worth Public Art and Keith House present: "Do Something Good For Your Neighbor," a panel discussion, followed by a sunset skyspace viewing of James Turrell's "Come to Good." Do Something Good For Your Neighbor, the acclaimed public art installation at Lake Como Park in Fort Worth, Texas, is currently on view as part of PORCH: An Architecture of Generosity at the U.S. Pavilion in the prestigious 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, in Venice, Italy.
In celebration of this distinct honor, Arts Fort Worth is organizing a panel discussion in partnership with Keith House. The panel will focus on art in public space derived through the powerful intersection of design and public engagement.
Panelists include: Ella Burton, Como Resident and Public Art Project Core Team Member; Matt Niebuhr, Artist and Senior Partner at RDG Planning & Design; Anitra Blayton, Lake Como Park Public Art Master Planner; Philip Newburn, Chair of the Fort Worth Art Commission; and Janelle Montgomery, Director of Keith House.
