A passionate and community-minded interior designer, Radicia is recognized for her professional success and civic contributions.

RDG Planning & Design is proud to announce that RDG Partner, Alysia Radicia, NCIDQ has been named one of the Midlands Business Journal’s 2020 40 Under 40 winners. The 40 Under 40 awards are given annually to 40 Omaha area entrepreneurs, executives and professionals under the age of 40 in recognition of their career achievements and community involvement.

“Alysia’s passion lies in bettering the lives of people in our communities – whether that’s through her design work or her volunteerism,” said RDG Managing Principal, John Sova, AIA. “Her dedication to bettering our profession, our work and our city shows in everything she does and it’s no surprise that MBJ saw fit to recognize her in this year’s 40 under 40 class.”

Radicia has spent her career planning and designing community-focused, academic and office environments, including work for the Women’s Center for Advancement, the NorthStar Foundation, the University of Nebraska education system and the Jewish Community Center.

“I see my civic involvement as an extension of my professional and personal development, and in everything am always striving to build community and create meaning,” said Radicia. “Being recognized for the work I do in a city I love means a great deal. I’ll continue to strive to live up to the high standards the 40 Under 40 Award sets, using my talents to promote cultural vibrancy and inclusivity across our region.”

A strong advocate for the arts, Radicia is actively involved with the Opera Omaha Community Arts Panel as well as the Joslyn Art Museum’s Young Art Patrons. As a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional Council, she develops strategies to attract and retain young professionals to the Greater Omaha area and also dedicates time to educating the community about heart health and wellness as a member of the American Heart Association.
