Interior Design Overview:

With a specific focus on whole-person healing, the new 44-bed Rehabilitation Center at Menno Haven will elevate post-acute care in Chambersburg, PA and beyond. Designed to achieve WELL Building certification, the building incorporates research-based elements intended to promote the physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of guests. It is also designed to invite the community in by incorporating a number of out-patient services, to sustain the community through a culinary production center of excellence, and to improve the community by elevating engagement levels of staff, residents, and visitors. The facility is designed to provide an abundance of natural and technically sophisticated therapy opportunities and a world-class recovery environment that pushes the edge on short-term rehab in the industry. Non-traditional building features include: a health and wellness library located throughout the building, staff fitness programs, creation of a biophilia plan, including thoughtful incorporation of nature and natural patterns within the building and 10-foot ceilings in all regularly occupied spaces and ultraviolet lamps in HVAC cooling coils.
