The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced RDG Planning & Design as a member of the Downtown Vision Plan and Action Plan consulting team.

The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced the consulting team for the Downtown Vision Plan and Action Plan for Downtown Des Moines on August 18. Through an extensive RFP process, the team of Bâton Global, Civitas Consultants and RDG Planning & Design was selected to prepare the plan. 

Designed to build upon the momentum Downtown DSM had prior to COVID-19, this collaborative and inclusive process will position Downtown DSM for short-term economic recovery and long-term economic vitality and vibrancy.  

The Downtown Vision Plan and Action Plan will roll up into the Capital Crossroads Regional Vision plan, to be updated in 2022. RDG, the consulting team and the plan’s leaders plan to engage with the public to garner feedback and ideas to shape the future of Downtown DSM. Public engagement information will be posted on The Greater Des Moines Partnership website in September.
