To accomplish this, the Owner added 60 independent living apartments and 23 cottages. The heart of the project was the design and construction of a new clubhouse, including a new main entrance, an extensive expansion of resident amenities, and multiple new dining venues serviced by a new central kitchen, which features an open display food finishing component.   As much as improving the dining experience was a goal, so was extending the pre-dining and post-dining experience. The design team created a performance lounge, bistro, and game area adjacent to the dining venues to provide residents with opportunities to interact with their neighbors in an atmosphere of style, flexibility and fun. Flexible furnishings used throughout, allow the spaces to flex from one use to another. For example, the bistro, which opens to the piano lounge, has height-adjustable tables for dining and standing height to support a range of events.
