Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Sports Complex Phase I

Madison, WI

Services provided on this project:

Landscape Architecture Overview:

Working with the Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Foundation and Madison Area Technical College, we identified programmatic needs, developed a long-range master plan and established total project costs for new softball, soccer and baseball venues. Integrating needs of the diverse athletic and recreation user groups was critical. The three venues are the home facility for Madison College varsity athletic programs as well as serve recreation needs of the Madison community - a goal of the Goodman Foundation. The Phase 1 project includes the new softball and soccer venues and is funded through a generous gift from the Foundation.

“Madison College has been working with RDG since 2014 to program, master plan and design a new soccer stadium, softball stadium, baseball stadium and associated support facilities and amenities of each. The entire process facilitated by RDG team members has been well organized and timely. RDG staff are thorough, creative and practical in their problem solving and design thinking. We have found the dedication of RDG team members to be of great benefit to our athletic department and College as a whole.”
