The Alfie Norville Practice Facility creates a premier campus and recruiting asset that provides basketball and volleyball with more dedicated space than they have ever had.

The addition visually relates to the Norville Athletic Center and follows the Lakeside Campus Design Guidelines, but also expresses the dynamic activities within. The tight site and requirement to minimize building footprint to protect adjacent fields resulted in a concept that stacks two practice courts on top of one another. The exterior uses large windows to drench the practice courts in natural light and provide dramatic views toward Lake Michigan, just one block east of the site.
