Finishes of offices, cafe, lobby and other interior spaces are updated to give the National Pork Board's headquarters a lighter and brighter feel with a modern aesthetic. The project's implementation was phased to allow for minimal interruption for employees.

The new environment is designed to encourage use of underutilized amenity spaces, such as the courtyard and conference center, in order to foster collaboration and camaraderie among staff. Purposeful wall placement responded to existing angled exterior walls, providing more intuitive circulation through the space. Glass walls facing main circulation corridors increase transparency, and allow daylight into the private offices. Existing restrooms were brought up to code and the mechanical system was updated for improved indoor air quality. A demonstration kitchen is integrated into the design, providing a place for the National Pork Board to feature pork as a product. The design allows users to fully prep, cook and cater tasting events that feature pork. These events are often recorded, using built-in A/V equipment and later shared publicly via social media.
