Architecture Overview:
RDG designed top-level facilities on the UNL campus that provide the tennis and soccer programs the opportunity to compete for championships in the Big Ten and nationally. The complex is on the edge of campus and serves as a front door to the University, so brick and concrete are used as the dominant material in locations most visible to pedestrians and spectators. The metal soccer grandstand is clad with brick and concrete as well, to give it more permanence and a collegiate feel. The indoor tennis building and its support wing serve as the hub of support for all student-athlete and spectator activities, and provide enclosure to the north edge of the soccer stadium.

"Where we played was nice, but it wasn't a soccer stadium. The stands were 25, 30 yards away, it didn't have lights, the size of the field was small, we shared it with another sport. But this is phenomenal. Everything is first class. There's nothing cookie-cutter about it."
