Anthony's
Italian Eats
Set in a building that dates to the early 1900s, Anthony's Italian Eats creates a charming café and grocery with a decidedly European flair.
Combining honeyed shades of unfinished wood, a soft gold tin ceiling, homemade shelving made of black pipe flange and unfinished pine shelves flanked by white subway tile with original terrazzo floors yields a casual yet elegant atmosphere.
Inspired by the home of the Gianinos' grandparents, the 350-square-foot space maximizes retail shelf space without sacrificing intimate seating for diners both inside and out. The dining room features a collection of family photos and is crowned by the soft-glowing light of a chandelier cut from wine bottles.
