Clear Lake —
The North Shore Drive banners are more than advertising tools - they are works of art. They create a visual story that represents the many and diverse activities that take place near the lake, including markets, music and events throughout the year.
The eye-catching designs help to create a sense of community pride and local identity, with an aesthetic inspired by favorite local activities, as well as by the Surf Ballroom and its original era. Reminiscent of the art deco style, the banners use patterns, simple shapes and colors of the period. Fourteen unique banners were designed for display ten months of the year with four additional banners added to highlight the summer's largest event, the Clear Lake Fourth of July celebration.
