For RDG's entry into the 2021 Falls Park Master Plan competition, designers embraced the theme "Beautiful by Contrast," highlighting the dynamic interplay between chaos and calm, wild and urban, past and future. Both the program and the document celebrate these intriguing contradictions.  

The design approach is diverse, with translucent vellum diagrams overlaying the site map, showcasing the evolving design process. With a strikingly limited color palette, the completed book exudes sophistication and modernity, positioning the park's design as forward-thinking.  

Printed in small batches and hand-bound, the unique size of the proposal allows for ample negative space, ensuring it stands out among the competition. This attention to detail not only captures attention but also elevates the presentation of our vision for this historic park.
