August 09, 2024

Leann Pederson speaks with the Des Moines Business Record about leadership trends and her visions for the future of the profession.

To learn more about how this year’s Forty Under 40 Honorees found success professionally and in their communities, the Des Moines Business Record spoke to members of this year’s class, including RDG Interior Designer and Senior Partner Leann Pederson, IIDA, CHID, LEED AP, about leadership trends and plans for the future. The article outlines each answer to show the varying ways the 2024 class members plan to continue developing as leaders.

When asked about future aspirations and growth, Pederson shared her desire to be an advocate and educate the public about the profession of interior design: “Commercial interior design is so much more than selecting pillows and paints,” said Pederson. “I absolutely love solving problems and ultimately improving processes in a collaborative team environment.”
