November 18, 2020
Interior Design Landscape Architecture College & University

A discussion about the perceived long-term impacts of COVID-19, and ways colleges and universities can adapt spaces to minimize exposure risks, keep teams healthy and strengthen organizational culture.

Many colleges and universities have begun to welcome back students, and along with those students, a multitude of administrative faculty and staff. Much like corporate office spaces, higher education institutions are reckoning with questions about what, if any, long-term impacts COVID-19 will have on work environments. From concerns around the amount of space in between desks to considerations of long-term remote work to the basic psychology of ensuring people feel safe to return, there are a lot of considerations around not only how we work, but also what the spaces in which we do that work will look like.

In this webinar for IAAPPA, RDG Planning & Design Interior Designer and Workplace Strategist Collin Barnes, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C and Landscape Architect and Campus Planner Jonathan Martin, PLA, ASLA discuss the perceived long-term impacts of COVID-19 and address ways colleges and universities can adapt spaces to minimize exposure risks, keep teams healthy and strengthen organizational culture.
