This project brings the Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation and its related organizations under one roof and serves as a demonstration project for bringing new life to vacant and forgotten buildings on Main Street.
The project scope included offices for the Legacy Foundation, Rippling Waters Development Corporation, the Ottumwa Leadership Academy and the Bookin Innovation Center, an incubator space for area entrepreneurs. The project also includes assembly space and meeting rooms for community events and meetings. In its restored form, the building is now a center for collaboration and community development and a valuable asset to the community.
