Greenlief Training Site Installation Master Plan

RDG worked closely with the Nebraska National Guard to develop a comprehensive master plan for the 4,000 acres, multi-location Greenlief Training Site which is Tier-3 compliant with DoD UFC-2-100-01. The planning process included 5 distinct steps: The Vision Plan, Installation Development Plan, Installation Planning Standards, Installation Development Program, and Summary Document. The Installation is the primary training site for the Nebraska Army National Guard with assets that include physical training courses, 15 active firing ranges, a simulated forward operating base managed by U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), a military operation in urban terrain (MOUT) site, navigational courses, and drop zones. It is also designated as a Unit Training and Equipment Site (UTES). As the first master plan of this kind for the Greenlief Training Site Installation, it is intended to be a living document which will inform facility development staff.
