Improvements to Louisana State University's Tiger Stadium elevate school spirit and create opportunities for new fan traditions.

Enhancements to the west and north sides of Tiger Stadium include new plazas, new ticket gates, new champions kiosks, new sliding gates for crowd control and new weather protection over ticket gates. Piers and entrance features become new landmarks around the stadium. Plaques and kiosks are incorporated to celebrate the LSU Tiger football team and individual success.

Champions Plaza

The ticket gates on the west side of the stadium not only serve as one of the primary access points to the stadium on game day, they also are oriented toward a major street adjacent to campus and therefore are part of the “front door” image for LSU. Classically designed pylons are used at the major entrances to the LSU campus to celebrate fan arrival.
Ticket Gates

The Scotty Moran Champions Plaza is located at the center of the west ticket gates. It's a strong focal point and serves as the eastern terminus to the SEC Champions Plaza and as the ceremonial entrance for special events held in the west stadium club. This ceremonial entrance allows special event attendees to walk past the national champion markers and the College Football Hall of Fame honorees. Each of the three national championship teams is celebrated with individual kiosks that list all team members, the team score by game and the year of achievement.

Those individuals who have received the coveted College Football Hall of Fame recognition are honored with a bronze plaque as part of the Champions Plaza. These plaques are replicas of the certificate each person received when inducted into the Hall of Fame. A larger plaque describes the process that is used to accept individuals into the Hall of Fame.

All-American recognitions are organized by century with the 20th-century honorees located in the north All-American plaza and the 21st-century honorees in the south plaza. Each individual recipient is celebrated with a bronze plaque describing their personal accomplishments. Each plaque also contains the name of the donor who make the plaque possible and showcases the team helmet design used during that season.
