Assessment
The City of Waukee contracted with RDG to complete a detailed assessment of the watershed for Sugar Creek.
The study area included 15.5 square miles of land area located in one of the most rapidly urbanizing areas of the country. The five primary goals of this study were to: (1) assess conditions within the watershed, (2) evaluate conditions along key stream segments, (3) identify stormwater management opportunities, (4) delineate stream buffer protection areas and (5) plan for stormwater management within a 200+ acre future civic campus.
