RDG rehabilitated the original historic Spaulding automobile factory in 2012, a site that needed new life and purpose. The 2012 rehabilitation transformed the site into a state-of-the-art, interactive museum and education center. In 2017, the interior spaces were transformed once again, to accommodate new City Hall offices and program spaces. Modifications were made to the existing architectural walls, doors, floors, ceilings and finishes; existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fire suppression systems. The original character of the campus is maintained, but transformed into an array of appealing, functional spaces for exhibition of all forms of transportation, an interactive education center and a facility for administrative offices.
