Architect/Planner
College & University
New York City
At RDG, we create spaces that inspire learning, collaboration and community. We’re seeking a project architect or planner to join our College & University market in New York City, with a focus on design, project execution and programming.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative architect or planner who thrives in project execution — bringing design concepts to life through technical expertise, problem-solving and collaboration. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing programming strategies, working closely with clients to assess space needs, functional goals and long-term campus planning. While relationships in the Northeast are a plus, this role is more focused on project delivery than external business development. You’ll work alongside a team of designers and planners to create meaningful higher education spaces while also contributing to the growth of RDG’s New York office.
Because this role involves both technical and creative problem-solving, our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys diving into design details, coordinating with teams and bringing innovative educational spaces to life. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are excited about shaping higher education architecture, we’d love to hear from you.
