Located at the entrance of Creighton University’s Omaha, Nebraska campus, the CL and Rachel Werner Center serves as a health sciences hub and home to the School of Medicine, integrating shared spaces for all the university’s health sciences programs. RDG’s design for the cutting-edge health sciences center emphasizes interprofessional education through innovative spaces and marks Creighton's third collaboration with the firm, following award-winning designs for the School of Dentistry in Omaha and the Health Sciences Campus in Phoenix.
The CL and Rachel Werner Center embodies Creighton’s commitment to interprofessional collaboration, bringing together physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physician assistants and EMS technicians to learn and work under one roof. Flexible learning spaces throughout the building support synchronous and asynchronous distance learning between Omaha and Phoenix campuses, broadening the reach of Creighton’s educational programs.
