Funding was approved by voters in a November 2012 Bond Referendum, to include a community center, outdoor aquatics center, amphitheatre, farmer’s market, accessible playspace, and trails throughout the Park.

"Throughout the project RDG staff was responsive to the City’s needs and thorough in their evaluation of design alternatives for the Park. RDG’s attention to detail and consistent cost management during the early stages of design allowed the City to make informed decisions that best utilized public dollars for the project."
