RDG Landscape Architects, Pat Dunn and Kene Okigbo, each present on topics at ASLA’s National Conference in San Diego, California.

Pat Dunn, PLA, ASLA is collaborating with designers Aimee Duffy with Design Work Shop and Chip Impastraoto with Studio Outside on Sunday, November 17th,  to discuss the “Dream Team – Recruiting the Best and the Brightest Talent to your Firm.” This session examines talent management with a specific focus on recruiting, aimed at improving a firm’s operations and business results through a company’s most valuable resource: its people. Their presentation covers how recruiting can be the foundation of talent management at a firm, the sharing of best practices at firms in cities of different sizes and geographies, and how strategy and tactics can affect change in recruitment opportunities.

Kene  Okigbo is part of a panel discussion on Friday, November 15th, with Michael Todoran, landscape architect with Rios Clementi Hale Studio and Lara Remitz,  landscape designer with Wright & Company. The topic of their discussion, “Landscape With an  Edge,” is centered around how subculture can be integral to professional diversity while offering unique perspectives on process, public spaces and creating change.
