Fraternity
House
This new campus fraternity building was designed to provide private amenities that complement and aesthetically fit the traditional character of the fraternity and surrounding neighborhood.
Historic and residential building forms and materials blend together to create prominent architectural character within a familiar house language. This project used a design build strategy in order to meet the abbreviated construction schedule and site constrictions. The interior space features public and private amenities that compete with university housing and facilitate an advanced learning environment. The facility offers living space for 64 chapter members, and includes group study spaces and suite style study rooms, group sleep spaces, secure-entries, educational instruction space, kitchen, dining and recreational space.
