Physical and Occupational Therapies at Nebraska Methodist Hospital have fresh, well-equipped, dedicated spaces as a result of this major renovation.
Staff and patients in this area of Nebraska Methodist Hospital now enjoy a space that allows for more efficient workflows and more focused services. Physical and occupational therapy spaces are separated, with a new "apartment" space to simulate life at home for OT that includes a kitchen, laundry room, living room and work bench/tool bench. Staff have dedicated office/workspace immediately adjacent to the PT and OT gym , and the semi-separated spaces allow for more wall space to anchor equipment and give an overall better organized quality to the space. Upgraded lighting and mechanical systems as well as new glazing freshens and brightens the whole space, creating an environment conducive to treating patients receiving hese types of therapies.
